Privacy policy
This policy describes the information Job Tracker handles to authenticate you, maintain your CV Profile, and generate the documents you request.
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Information you provide
We handle the email address and name associated with your account, along with your language preference and authentication information.
We also handle the CV Profile data you choose to add, such as contact methods, professional links, photo, Work Experience, Education, skills, Certificates, Languages, and Projects. CV drafts, selections, previews, and CV Exports are stored so you can manage your documents.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, save your work, create tailored CVs, render previews and PDFs, send requested notifications, remember your language, and protect the service.
If you start a LinkedIn Import, the imported information is held so you can review the fields before choosing what to merge into your CV Profile.
Sharing and service providers
Job Tracker does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the infrastructure, database, email, storage, and other service providers needed to operate the deployment.
We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the service, its users, or other people.
Storage and retention
Your information is kept while your account and documents are maintained, or for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legitimate operational or legal requirements.
Short-lived LinkedIn Import data can be cleaned up after it expires. Retention and deletion controls may also depend on the administrator of the Job Tracker deployment you use.
Security and updates
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online service can promise perfect security.
We may update this policy when the project or its data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
